in: Origines mundi, gentium et civitatum,

Author attempts to examine the historical validity of biblical data (Josh 1-11) confronting them with results of archeological investigations. Contradictions between the archeological evidences and text of the Bible lead to the conclusion, that the narration of the origins of Israel in the Bible is the literary form which describes events assisted by Yahweh. History described on the biblical pages is interpreted from the religious perspective. This biblical account had its continuation in Jewish midrashim. In that way archeology and Bible build mosaic of the origins of Israel.
