„The Christological Function of Mark's intercalations”

Author deals with a typical for Mark technique of intercalation, known also as a sandwich technique. This technique based on insertion of one narration to another narration, which brakes teh development of the first one, but at the same time makes easier its interpretation. It means that reader meets two levels: literary and theological. This technique is used by Mark several times in his work: 3,20-35; 5,21-43; 6,7-32; 11,12-25; 14,1-11; 14,53-72. Author accurately analyses each of these texts and finally comes to the conclusion, that Markan intercalations have a determined functions in structure and theology of the first Gospel. The most important are indicato temporalis, indicato spatialis, idicatio personalis and adumbratio ironica.
